Orbital Technologies has released further details of its plan to offer guests accommodation at the first space hotel.
Situated some 350 kilometres above the earth, the Commercial Space Station (CSS) will have accommodation for seven guests and will be serviced by the Russian Soyuz and Progress spacecraft.
Planes were first revealed last year, with more details offered at the MAKS 2011 Airshow earlier.
Chief executive of Orbital Technologies, Sergey Kostenko said: “Once launched and operational, the CSS will provide a unique destination for commercial, state and private spaceflight exploration missions.
“The CSS will be a valuable addition to the global base of orbital assets.
