In order to showcase the destination, Tourism Ireland will be hosting a buyer-seller meet for the Indian travel trade in Limerick, Ireland in mid-October 2012. The meet will see 10-12 buyers from India interacting with 80 suppliers from Ireland.
Beena Menon,
Representative – India, Tourism Ireland, said, “The meet is an opportunity for the Indian travel trade to meet with representatives of the Ireland suppliers as well as learn more about Ireland as a destination. The travel agents and tour operators for the meet will mainly be from the metros and Tier-II cities in India.” Menon informed that the meet would include interactive sessions and workshops for the travel trade as well as pre-Familiarisation (FAM) trips.
