ndiGo has won the Skytrax World Airline Award 2012 for the Best Low-Cost Airline in Central Asia/India. The airline has won this award for the third time in a row. 6E (IndiGo’s IATA code) has also bagged the Best Staff Service in Central Asia/ India award at the ceremony held at the Farnborough International Air show in London recently.

NEWS| Sarovar Hotels, IndiGo in marketing tie-up
Mumbai-based hotel chain operator Sarovar Hotels and budget airline carrier IndiGo Airlines today announced a marketing tie-up for frequent travellers.

The arrangement will allow guests staying at select Sarovar Hotels across 26 destinations in India to avail a 10 per cent discount on their next travel booking with IndiGo.
While Indigo flyers can avail up to 25 per cent discount on published room tariff, 10 per cent discount on holiday stay packages and 10 per cent discount on restaurant dining at select Sarovar properties.
Pradeep Kalra, senior V-P, sales and marketing, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts said: "We have entered into a multi-dimensional tie-up with IndiGo Airlines, which will be mutually rewarding. The tie up will benefit travellers as they will now be saved of the hassle of finding a good place to stay at a convenient price."

AWARDS| IndiGo wins best low-fare carrier award
IndiGo, a low-fare domestic airline, was awarded "Best Low-Fare Carrier in India for the year 2007" by the Air Passengers Association of India (APAI).
President and CEO of IndiGo Bruce Ashby said: "I am absolutely delighted that our efforts to run an affordable, reliable, hassle-free airline have been recognized by the people who matter most - the travellers".
The APAI conducted the poll among frequent flyers and its members at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi airport during Feb 15-29, 2008, with more than 1600 respondents. Apart from passenger responses, over 400 online responses were received from members of APAI.
The award is based on scores received on six criteria: value for money, punctuality, connectivity, safety, refunds and baggage handling.
