Travel technology provider and transaction processor Amadeus and STA Travel recently announced a long-term extension to their content agreement. The geographic scope of the deal includes Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Germany, the USA, Austria,
Switzerland, South Africa, Sweden, Japan, Singapore and Thailand amongst others. Under this new agreement, over 29 STA Travel markets will use the Amadeus distribution system to access travel content throughout Amadeus´ global partner network. With the needs of STA Travel's customer in mind, Amadeus had also developed a custom built e-ticketing solution for STA Travel.
