Travel comparison site Skyscanner has revealed that Goa is the place that most Indians would like to visit for a romantic break within the sub-continent, where Paris was the most desired destination for romance abroad.
Over 800 people voted in the survey, which asked Indians where they would most like to take their loved one for Valentine's Day.Goa topped the charts with 28% of the vote, followed by the Andaman Islands (14%), Agra (9%), Kerala (8%)and Shimla (8%). When it came to romance overseas, it was Paris that most Indians wanted to whisk their lovers away to. The French capital is generally thought of as being the world's most romantic city, and 24% of the respondents wanted to go there.
