ERP and technology solutions provider, IDS NEXT recently announced that it has integrated its Property Management Systems (PMS) with TTI Technologies’ Scan2PMS passport scanner. This integration enables capture of guest information and automatic updates to the hotel database, thereby enhancing security measures within the property.
The passport scanner will be customisable as per hotelier preferences and has provisions for Photo extraction as well which would assist hoteliers to reduce guest check-in time and also decrease paperwork associated with maintenance of guest history and records. The scanning device is compact and portable and can be used in a front-office setting without any interference, according to a media release.
