KSTDC to offer package tours for Silver Chariot from October 2010

Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) will introduce package tours around destinations of coastal Karnataka through Silver Chariots, the luxury Volvo buses on the lines of the Golden Chariot. The package tours will be offered from October this year. This information was given by Vinay Luthra, Managing Director, KSTDC. On the accommodation front, Luthra informed that the Corporation will upgrade all the hotels owned and operated by the Corporation. KSTDC has 16 hotels across different tourist destinations in the state.
