The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has appointed Blue Square Consultants (BSC), as its representative for West and South India markets with effect from next month, in keeping with TAT’s renewed focus and to energise the marketing and public relations activity in these regions. The mandate of BSC is to represent Thailand by introducing new marketing concepts and its expertise in public relations in the targeted markets of West and South India.
Sethaphan Buddhani, Director, TAT, said, “These are exciting times for Thailand as a destination. With last year’s arrivals from India crossing the 9.11 lakh mark, our aim is to cross the million mark this year. We believe BSC will bring in the dynamism and its understanding of the Indian outbound market to propel this growth in 2013.’’
“We are very happy to be appointed as the representative of TAT in these two important regions. Our repertoire of services will enable us to position Thailand as the numero uno destination for the Indian outbound market,” said Lubaina Sheerazi, Head, BSC.
