The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) has announced that it has tied-up with Mojostreet, a mobile application provider which helps people discover tourist locations nearby. "The partnership will make it easier for tourists to find information about nearby tourists spots, hotels, restaurants, banks, travel agencies and much more their mobile phones," Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, APTDC said, as per a PTI report.
Through the application, APTDC plans to actively provide tourists with information required on places to stay, visit, shop, dine and more. The application will also provide users with contact information and GPS-enabled road directions using Google Maps. APTDC will also use the application to interact with tourists, collect feedback and even provide special discounts at APTDC properties, the release said. "We are proud to be associated with APTDC. We are looking forward to more such partnerships with tourism corporations across India," Kalyan Manyam, CEO, Mojostreet said. The application is currently available for iPhone, Nokia touch, Android, Blackberry and Windows-based smart phones.
