Travel management company BCD Travel has signed a two-year contract with Indian hotel company Taj Hotels, Resorts & Palaces. The five-star Indian-owned hotel group will become one of BCD’s preferred hotel partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jason Harris, BCD’s senior director for hotel relations, said he was “delighted” to have secured the deal. “Everyone is aware of the hotel availability issues in India so we need to be at the forefront of relationships with hotels such as Taj,” he said. “India is a key emerging market and business travel traffic is constantly growing.”
