The topics covered in the programme include Indian society and culture, an overview of tourism and hospitality industry and managerial and behavioural skills. The curriculum has been worked out in consultation with the Archaeological survey of India (ASI), the Institute of Archaeology and other eminent institutes.
College students in the age group of 18 to 25 years are eligible for the training programme. The candidates are short-listed through a written entrance examination. On the successful completion of the course, candidates will be awarded a certificate by IITTM and Rs 1,000 as honorarium. Besides, the names of successful candidates will be put on the websites of IITTM and MoT.
