Equino Fun Holidays, the Mumbai-based leisure division of Travel Post, has recently introduced a new concept 'fun-on-the-run' for its clients in Mumbai.
Targeted at high-end Free Individual Travellers (FITs) and corporates, the concept facilitates door-step service for clients who find it difficult to take out time to visit the travel agent personally or book a tour package over the phone.
Explaining the concept, Rishabh Jain, Head - Marketing, Equino Fun Holidays, said, "All the client has to do is call up our office and fix up a meeting with our consultant. The consultant will go over to the client's place, understand his requirements and accordingly, offer him customised packages. Also, since he will be equipped with a laptop, flight, hotel and other bookings will be done instantly for the client."
The consultant service under the 'fun-on-the-run' concept will be offered to clients looking to buy international as well as domestic tour packages. "The idea behind introducing the concept is to take the 'instant booking' trend once step ahead. But since 'fun-on-the-run' is relatively a new concept, we are not looking for great results immediately. We are expecting to convert atleast 30 per cent of the inquiries into business," informed Jain. Apart from this, the company recently rolled out 'Christmas special' and 'winter' packages for domestic and international destinations. With two offices in Mumbai and one in Pune, it offers flight, hotel and Eurail bookings, travel insurance and foreign exchange apart from domestic and international tour packages.
