IndiGo to launch daily flight from Goa to Kochi on Sept 16

The low-fare domestic airline will launch its daily flight on the Mumbai-Goa-Kochi route on September 16, with the newly acquired Airbus A320 from Airbus in Toulouse, France operating along the route.

The chief commercial officer of IndiGo, Mr Sanjay Kumar, informed this daily that the one-way fare from Goa to Kochi will be Rs 999, while the one-way fare from Goa to Mumbai will be Rs 500. “The airline already has a Goa-Delhi daily flight since last November,” he added.



Speaking further, Mr Kumar said that there was no direct flight available from Goa to Kerala, in spite of the fact that large segment of tourists, both Indian and international, travel to and fro between these tourist states. He also pointed out, “large number of people from Kerala have settledA in Goa and regularly visit their native land.”

Mr Kumar maintained that affordable fares, on-time performance and hassle-free travel are three aspects strictly followed by IndiGo.
