Travelguru guarantees 'A hotel Room at any budget'

Travel portal Travelguru has unleashed a mass media campaign promising consumers a guaranteed hotel room, at any budget and any location of their choice in India.

The campaign promise is 'A Hotel Room Guaranteed. Any Budget. Anywhere.’ As part of a nationwide marketing campaign, the new television commercial highlights how Travelguru's scale can alleviate customer concerns about booking hotels.

Travelguru says that it understands the consumer's need and 'guarantees' that it can help a consumer locate and get a confirmed hotel room of his choice at his price range and destination, from across 3000 hotels in India and 72000 globally.

Travelguru founder and CEO Ashwin Damera says, "The Travelguru Promise is founded on consumer insights derived by research, which gave us an understanding of apprehensions and misgivings that consumers have with booking hotels online. The predominant one being whether they will actually have a confirmed hotel room waiting for them when they reach their destination."

The new advertising campaign launched by Travelguru introduces 'Guru' – an animated character who in the months to come will act as the personal travel advisor, providing travel tips and recommendations.

Damera adds, "With Travelguru, consumers have access to serviced apartments, 1-star to 5-star hotels, resorts, palaces, tents, houseboats and more, across over 180 cities in India. We sell about 500 hotel room nights per day."
